Harris, of the White House, M.E. Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. H. T. Jones. Deceased is survived by her husband and daughter. The pall bears were Peter Latourette, foreman, J. V. Stillwell, John Parks, F. W. Lindsley, C. E. Tomson, Jr., Euguene Hoffman and Elvin Hoffman. Interment in the Lebabon M.E. cemetery by funeral director J. R. Alpaugh.8

Mrs. Isaiah Sutton, age 26 years, died at her home at this place Thursday evening of last week from consumption. Death at all times seems sudden and although the death of the deceased was expected at any time, one at all times entertains hopes and expects the sick to continue to live a little while longer. She was a patient sufferer and bore her affliction bravely. A large number of friends and relatives, bearing beautiful floral tributes, attended the funeral Monday morning, which was held at the Reformed church at this place, Rev. S. D. Harris, of the White House, M.E. Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. H. T. Jones. Deceased is survived by her husband and daughter. The pall bears were Peter Latourette, foreman, J. V. Stillwell, John Parks, F. W. Lindsley, C. E. Tomson, Jr., Euguene Hoffman and Elvin Hoffman. Interment in the Lebabon M.E. cemetery by funeral director J. R. Alpaugh.8

- [S1448] Whitehouse Review. Mrs. Richard Sutton, aged sixty-five years, died at her home just south of town on Monday morning. Deceased recently slipped upon some ice while at work about her home, striking the back of her head very forcibly and badly bruising herself, since, which time she had been confined to the bed. While her daughter, Miss Mattie Sutton, was assisting her about her room on Monday morning, she gave a gasp and expired in her daughter's arms. Death was mainly due to heart trouble. Deceased was Miss Anna Burd, of near Hackettstown, but had resided in this vicinity for many years. She was a kind and devote wife and mother and possessed a host of friends. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Miss Mattie Sutton, at home, and two sons, Ramsey Sutton, of Phillipsburg, and Isaiah Sutton, of Jersey City. Funeral services will be held at her late home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. William Trumbower, pastor of the Whitehouse Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Rural Hill Cemetery by Funeral Director J. R. Alpaugh. (Jan. 6, 1915, page 1).

At the time of this marriage, Jacob resided at 227 Rahway Ave., Elizabeth, NJ and Mattie at White House.2 Mattie died on 23 September 1952 at Quakertown Community Hospital, Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, at age 71.3 Her body was interred on 26 September 1952 at White House, Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at Rural Hill Cemetery.3

He married Jennie Viola Bowers at Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey, on 10 September 1893.2 Ramsey died on 21 June 1929 of lymphocarcinoma of neck. Information on death certificate provided by Jacob Davis, brother-in-law, of Plainfield. at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey, at age 60.3 His body was interred on 24 June 1929 at Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey.3

He died on 28 April 1871 at New Germantown, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, of liver complaint.4
His body was interred on 30 April 1871 at Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at Methodist Churchyard.4,1
