     Harry Sutton, 79, of Fox Hill Road, Long Valley, N.J., died Wednesday at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, N.J.
     He was last employed as a custodian by the Chester Township Board of Education until retiring 10 years ago.
     Born in Washington Township, Morris County, he was a son of the late Raymond and Grace Polhemus Sutton. He lived in the Long Valley area all his life.
     Mr. Sutton was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fairmount, N.J., and a charter member of the Fairmount Fire Co.
     Surviving are his wife, the former Nettie Watson; four daughters, Charlotte Brader, Pennsauken, N.J; Harriet Lutz, Long Valley, and Margery Christy and Holly Haberstroh, both of Mount Jackson, Va; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today in Cedar Wood Cemetery, Edinburg, Va. The Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon, was in charge of arrangements. on 30 May 1986.3

     Born in Long Valley on Aug. 22, 1910, he was a son of the late Raymond and Grace Polhemus Sutton.
     Survivors include his widow, the former Selena Holmes; two brothers, Hary, Long Valley, and Willard, Springfield, N.J; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Davis, Naughright, N.J., and Miss Alma Sutton, Long Valley.
     The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Interment will be in Fairmount, N.J., cemetery. on 7 July 1973.2

     Donald Putnam Sutton was born on 16 April 1922 at Farmersville, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Noted as 2nd child.1 He was the son of Austin S. Sutton and LaVanche Putnam Kagan. He married Estelle McConnell before 1950. He died on 15 September 1950 at Somerset Hospital, Somerville, Somerset County, New Jersey.2 He was buried on 18 September 1950 at Fairmount Presbyterian Cemetery, Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.3
     Donald Putnam Sutton appeared on the census of 3 April 1930 in the household of Austin S. Sutton at Farmersville, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.4 Obit:
     Donald P. Sutton, 28, a farmer of Califon, N.J., died yesterday in Somerset Hospital, Somerville, N.J., where he was a patient for one month.
     Mr. Sutton was born in Califon, son of Austin Sutton, of Califon, and the late LaVanche Kagan Sutton. He resided in Califon all his life.
     He was a member of Fairmount Methodist Church and Califon Men's Club and was graduated from High Bridge High School in 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
     He leaves, in addition to his father, his wife, Mrs. Estelle McConnell Sutton; three children, Gene, Ronald and Donna Lee, and two brothers, Norman and Leroy, both of Califon.
     Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Coughlin funeral home, Center street, Califon. The Rev. James R. Cooper, Jr., pastor of Califon Methodist Church and Fairmount Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Fairmount Presbyterian Cemetery. on 16 September 1950.2
