     Mrs. Mildred Peterson Sutton, 42, wife of Nelson Sutton, of Oxford, died this morning at her home after an illness of five months. She was born in Oxford and spent most of her life in that community.
     Mrs. Sutton was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Peterson of Oxford. She was a member of Oxford Methodist Church and the ladies auxiliary of the Oxford Fire Co.
     Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are seven children, Donald, of Bath, and Earl, Bernice, Nelson Jr., Alice, Kathryn and Elmer, all at home; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Dellmyer, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Lenora Davis, of Washington; and two brothers, Roy Peterson, of Oxford, and George Peterson, of Pemberton, N.J.
     Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Ford funeral home, Washington. The Rev. Sylvestus Henson, pastor of Oxford Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Hazen cemetery. on 3 November 1949.²
