He was a past grand knight of St. Joseph's Council 5170, Knights of Columbus; a past president of St. Joseph's Church Holy Name Society; secretary-treasurer of Washington, Elks Lodge 1563, and a past district deputy of the Elks organization. He was also a charter member of the Washington Lions Club and a member of Blue Ridge Post 164, American Legion of Hackettstown.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Woronowicz, three brothers, Elmer, Ontario, N.Y; Franklin, High Bridge and Nelson, Oxford, and two sister, Mrs. Frances Lombardi and Miss Margaret Sutton, both Belvidere.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington, followed by a Requiem Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. The Elks Lodge will conduct services at 7 p.m. tomorrow and the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. on 11 May 1968.3
