Deceased had resided in Easton for about twelve years. For many years she was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Phillipsburg. Besides the daughter mentioned above, one other daughter; Mrs. Milton Nixon, of Jersey City; two sons, Jesse Sutton, Jr., of Easton, and George, of Newark; one brother, Minor Pyatt, of this city, and four sisters - Mrs. Rebecca Kohl, Mrs. Martha Smith, and Mrs. Anthony Storms, all of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. John Mindor, of Bridgeton, Pa., survive her. on 1 July 1916.1

     Sarah Sutton was born circa 1878 at Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Albert Sutton and Mary Townes.
     Sarah Sutton appeared on the census of 21 June 1880 in the household of Albert Sutton at Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1 She Sarah is probably married to Joseph Galbrath of Elizabeth. She also probably married Frank Darrar ca. 1897 and had at least 10 children from this marriage. The children are noted as step children to Joseph Galbrath in 1920 census. in 1932.

     Mary Sherer was born circa February 1851 at Durham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 She married Isaac L. Sutton, son of David Sutton and Sarah ?, circa 1867 at Pennsylvania. She died on 26 December 1934 at Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1
     Mary Sherer appeared on the census of 3 August 1870 in the household of Isaac L. Sutton at Upper Black Eddy, Durham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.2 She appeared on the census of 2 June 1880 in the household of Isaac L.      Franklin Sutton was born circa December 1868 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Isaac L. Sutton and Mary Sherer. He married Margaret Lambert circa 1894 at Pennsylvania. He died on 7 February 1941 at Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1 He was buried on 11 February 1941 at Union Cemetery, Hellertown, Lower Saucon, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.2
     Franklin Sutton appeared on the census of 3 August 1870 in the household of Isaac L. Sutton at Main Street, Hellertown Borough, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.4 He was a barber in June 1900.5 He appeared on the census of 14 June 1900 at Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania..6 He was a postmaster, U.S. Government in April 1910.7 He appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 at Main Street, Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.8 He was a barber in January 1920.9 He appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 at Main Street, Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.10 He appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at Main Street, Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.11 Obit:
     Franklin Sutton, 69 years old, former burgess and postmaster at Hellertown, died at 7:30 last night at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Mr. Sutton, who was Hellertown's burgess more than two decades and who served as postmaster for nearly 14 years, had been ill for several weeks. He was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago as a medical patient.
     For many years he was a barber and worked up to the time of his last illness. His residence was at 516 Main street, Hellertown.
     At the time of his death he was director and secretary of the Union Cemetery, Hellertown. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church, Hellertown Lodge, No. 563, F. and A. M. and Lodge No. 606, I.O.O.F, of Hellertown.
     The survivors include his wife, Maggie Lambert Sutton; a son, Russell, of Easton; a daughter, Mrs. John Riegel, Bangor; three sisters, Mrs. Theodore Richards, Hellertown; Mrs. George Clauser, Wydnor, and Mrs. John Mohr, Allentown. on 8 February 1941.1
