Mrs. Sutton, widow of Jesse Sutton, had lived in Easton from 1902 to 1943, when she and the Stems moved to Dover. She had made her home with the Stem family for the last 20 years and had been ill for three months.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth Hill Heilan. She formerly was a member of First Moravian Church, Easton, and was a member of Easton Chapter, American War Mothers; the Mothers of 1917; and the ladies auxiliary of Lester W. Pfeffer Post 611, American Legion. Her husband died 11 years ago.
Surviving, besides her daughter, are a son, Harry L. Sutton, of East Stroudsburg; four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Reardon and Mrs. Agnes Cooley, both of Jersey City, N.J.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Adams' home, Easton. The Rev. Hugh E. Kemper, pastor of First Moravian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Phillipsburg cemetery. on 26 January 1951.2
