     Mrs. Katherine D. Sutton, 74 years old, a resident of Lebanon for the 35 years, died Thursday at the home of Miss Elizabeth Lindabury at Whitehouse, where she had been cared for the last month.

     She was born February 10, 1864, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Q. Neighbor, of Califon. Her husband, the late Isaiah Sutton, died 12 years ago.

     A member of the Lower Valley Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Sutton also was active in Lebanon Reformed Church. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lydia Sutton; a brother, John V. Neighbor, both of Califon; two nieces, Mrs. Edward E. Davis of Califon and Mrs. Holly H. Sutton of Preble, N.Y., and two nephews, John and Wesley Hoffman, both of Mendham. on 6 August 1938.12 Obit:      Katherine D. Sutton, age 74. Burial was in Union Cemetery, adjoining the Methodist Chuch, Lebanon. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lydia Sutton; a brother, John Neighbor, Califon; two nieces, Mrs. Edward E. Davis, Califon, and Mrs. Holly H. Sutton, Preble, N.Y; also two nephews, John and Wesley Hoffman, Mendham. on 9 August 1938.13

     John was born at Fox Hill, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 20 April 1855.1 He was the son of Jacob B. Sutton and Marilda Pace. He was baptized on 13 January 1870 at First Presbyterian Church, Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2 He married Victoria Hackett, daughter of John Hackett and Malinda Fleming, on 25 June 1882 at Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.3,4,2 He died on 1 March 1930 at Plainfield Hospital, Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey, of lobar pneumonia. Names father as John Sutton and mother as Mary Pace and birth as 29 April 1855.5 He was buried on 4 March 1930 at Presbyterian Cemetery, Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.6
     John Pace Sutton appeared on the census of 25 July 1860 in the household of Jacob B. Sutton at Clinton Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.7 He appeared on the census of 19 August 1870 in the household of Daniel Pace at Succasunna, Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey; Surnames incorrect on census noted as Praster (Pace) and Lute (Sutton).8 He appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 in the household of Daniel Pace at Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey.9 He appeared on the census of 1895 at Ward 1, Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey.10 He was a driver in June 1900.11 He appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at West First Street, Ward 4, Rahway, Union County, New Jersey.12 He was a confectionary merchant in April 1910.13 He appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 at North Avenue, Ward 1, Plainfield, Union County, New Jersey.14 He appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 at Cole Brook Road, Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.15 Obit: John P. Sutton, seventy-five years old, died on Saturday evening in the Plainfield hospital where he had gone a short time before with an attack of pneumonia. Mr. Sutton was born in the Fairmount vicinity and had always resided hereabouts. He was a son of the late John Sutton and Mary Pace, his wife. After his wife died a number of years ago he made his home with the late Philip Van Doren, north of Whitehouse. For the past four years he has resided in Plainfield. He is survived by a son Edward Sutton, in Dunellen, and a daughter in Plainfield. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at the home of his son in Dunellen. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Fairmount by funeral director Charles Alpaugh, of Oldwick. on 4 March 1930.16

     Sarah Ann Farley was born on 7 February 1861 at Califon, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1 She was the daughter of David T. Farley and Sophia Hoffman. She married Alexander W. Sutton, son of Jacob B. Sutton and Marilda Pace, on 10 August 1881 at Fairmount, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2,3,4 She married William C. Cook, son of Frederick C. Cook and Mary Malatt, on 16 October 1897 at Califon, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; This was the second marriage for both William Cook and Sarah Farley.5
     Sarah Ann Farley appeared on the census of 1895 in the household of Alexander W. Sutton at Clinton Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.6
