     Hannah M. Trimmer was born on 27 February 1864 at Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Gravestone notes birth as 28 Feb.1 She was the daughter of John Trimmer and Catherine Backer. She married Morris W. Sutton at New Germantown, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 18 April 1885.2,3 Hannah died on 3 September 1889 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at age 25.4 Her body was interred circa 6 September 1889 at Cokesbury, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at Presbyterian Church Cemetery.5,4

     Emma Jane Alpaugh was born on 3 September 1854 at Potterstown, Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1 She was the daughter of John Alpaugh and Sarah Ann Apgar. She married David K. Alpaugh circa 1875 at New Jersey. He married Emma Jane Alpaugh at Califon, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 27 July 1892.2 Emma died on 22 May 1940 of coronary thrombosis. Information on Emma's death certificate provided by Morris Sutton of Califon. at Califon, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at age 85.3 Her body was interred on 25 May 1940 at Cokesbury, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at Presbyterian Cemetery.3,4

     Mrs. Emma Jane Sutton, 86 years old, wife of Morris Sutton, died on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at her home on Academy street, Califon, of a complication of ailments.
     Mrs. Sutton was born at Mountainville, N.J., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Alpaugh. Her entire life was spent within a radius of three miles of her birth place. She was twice married and her first husband, David Alpaugh, died 40 years ago. She was a member of Califon Methodist Church and of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church.
     Her husband survives with one daughter, Mrs. Walter Hill, of West Palm Beach, Florida and a son, Percy Alpaugh, of Philadelphia. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mattie E. Apgar, of Flemington; one brother, George Alpaugh, of Mountainville; two step-sons, Howard Sutton, of Mountainville and Casper Sutton, of Potterstown, N.J; eight grand-children and several great-grand-children.
     Funeral services on Saturday at 2 p.m. at her late residence in Califon. The Rev. Ralph G. Saxe, pastor of Califon-Fairmount Methodist Church, will officiate and interment in the Cokesbury Presbyterian Cemetery. on 23 May 1940.12

Casper A. Sutton
     Casper A. Sutton, 64, a farmer of Potterstown, near Califon died suddenly yesterday at his home of a heart attack. Mr. Sutton was born in Califon and spent his entire life within a few miles of his birthplace. His parents were the late Morris and Hannah Sutton. He was member of Cokesbury Methodist Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Minnie Lindaberry Sutton; two daughters, Mrs. Harland Frost, of Bedminister and Mrs. William Perkins, of Lebanon; two sons, Edwin, of Lebanon and Morris, at home; five grandchildren, and a brother, Howard Sutton, of Cokesbury.
     Furneral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cokesbury Methodist Church. The Rev. Ellis H. Richards, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Cokesbury Methodist cemetery. on 14 December 1948.17 Obit:
     The funeral of Casper A. Sutton, 64, of Potterstown, near Lebanon, was conducted yesterday afternoon with services in Cokesbury Methodist Church. Mr. Sutton died Monday at his home.
     The Rev. Ellis H. Richards, pastor of the church and the Rev. James J. Wade, of Paterson, former pastor of the church, officiated at the rites. Burial was in Cokesbury Methodist cemetery.
     Pallbearers were Fred Butler, William Foster, John McCatharie, George Voorhees, John Welsh and J. Emmett Hoffman. on 17 December 1948.18

     The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Methodist Church, Lebanon. The funeral will be conducted by D. J. Coughlin & Son, Califon. on 13 September 1957.3

     Born Dec. 27, 1907, in Fairmount, N.J., he was a son of the late Casper A. and Minnie Lindabury Sutton. He moved to Clinton Township in 1912.
     Mr. Sutton was a former member of Cokesbury Methodist Church, and a member of Stewart Lodge 34, F&AM, High Bridge.
     Surviving are his wife, the former Harriet Lare; a son, Willard C., of Clinton Township; two sisters, Mrs. William Perkins, of Asbury, N.J. and Mrs. Harold Snyder, Bedminster, N.J; and a grandson.
     Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bright's Colonial Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment will be in Cokesbury Cemetery. on 1 November 1985.8 Obit:
     Edson Sutton of Clinton Township died Thursday, October 31, 1985 at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 77.

     Born in Fairmount, he was a son of the late Casper A. and Minnie Lindabury Sutton and moved to Clinton Township in 1912.
     He was a former member of Cokesbury Methodist Church and a member of Stewart Lodge, F&AM, High Bridge.
     Surviving are his wife Harriet Lare Sutton; a son, Willard C. Sutton, of Clinton Township; two sisters, Mrs. William Perkins of Asbury and Mrs. Harold Snyder of Bedminster, and a grandson.
     Services were held Sunday in Bright's Colonial Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial was in Cokesbury Cemetery. on 7 November 1985.3

     Morris Sutton was born on 15 May 1914 at Farmersville, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1 He was the son of Casper Apgar Sutton and Minnie A. Lindabury. He married Mary Beitter, daughter of Frederick Beitter, on 5 April 1942 at Emanuel Reformed Church, Allentown, Pennsylvania.2 He died in 1965 at New Jersey.3 He was buried in 1965 at Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cokesbury, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.3

    The bride was attired in a street length dress of powder blue with navy accessories and a corsage of Talisman roses.
    The maid of honor was Miss Irma Koch, of Pottsville, Pa., a cousin of the bride, who wore a navy blue dress with accessories to match and a corsage of pink roses.
    After the marriage a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for the immediate relatives.
    The bride is a graduate of the Allentown High School.
    The couple has started house-keeping at the Sutton farm, near Lebanon, where Mr. Sutton is employed with his father.
    Due to the illness of Mr. Sutton's grandfather, Frederick L. Lindabury, plans of a large church wedding were discontinued but a few of the immediate families were present.

     Howard Sutton, 79, of the Cokesbury Road, Lebanon, N.J., R.D. 2, died yesterday in a Trenton hospital where he was a patient the last two years.
     Born in the Califon area, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Sutton. He operated a farm in the area many years, retiring 10 years ago. He was also employed by the Hunterdon County Road Department.
     Mr. Sutton was a member of the Cokesbury Methodist Church and a member and former officer of Stewart Lodge, F&AM, Clinton. He was also a former member of the Clinton Township Democratic Executive Committee.
     His wife, the former Zett Apgar, died last Jan. 1.
     Surviving are three sons, Charles M., Glen Gardner, and Lester H. and Kenneth M., both of Lebanon R.D. 1; two daughters, Mrs. Doris McDowell, Lebanon R.D. 2, and Mrs. Donald McKnought, Clark, N.J; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
     The funreal will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bright Colonial Funeral Home, Lebanon. Stewart Lodge will conduct services at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. on 7 November 1967.3
