     Benjamin was born at Piscataway, Piscataway Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, on 13 April 1722.¹ He was the son of Judah Sutton and Emma Carter (Canter). He married Mary Jennings Branch before 1758 at New Jersey. He died circa 1806 at Greene County, Pennsylvania.
