     Uriah Sutton was born on 6 September 1779 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ He was the son of John Sutton and Dinah Bonham. He married Anna Bonham, daughter of Amos Bonham and Rebecca Rittenhouse, on 19 January 1812 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Anna may have been married to one Thomas Roberson (#2304) in my roots file.² He died on 16 August 1849 at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, of inflammation of the bowels.^3,4,5
     Uriah Sutton served as county collector of taxes from 1824-28 and his name appears on the list of justices for the years 1822, 1827, 1832 and 1837. (Ref: Snells, History of Hunterdon County).      Elizabeth Sutton was born on 12 August 1781 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of John Sutton and Dinah Bonham. She married Joseph Bosenbury circa 1800 at New Jersey. She died on 2 October 1857 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

     Prudence Sutton was born on 16 April 1788 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of John Sutton and Dinah Bonham. She married Jeremiah Opdyke on 18 January 1806 at Kingwood, Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.² She died on 20 January 1846 at New York.³

     Sarah Sutton was born on 11 March 1791 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of John Sutton and Dinah Bonham. She married John Hockenbury, son of Malcomb Hockenbury, on 23 January 1813 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey.² She died on 22 December 1860 at New Jersey.
