He married Anna Bonham, daughter of Amos Bonham and Rebecca Rittenhouse, on 19 January 1812 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Anna may have been married to one Thomas Roberson (#2304) in my roots file.2 He died on 16 August 1849 at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, of inflammation of the bowels.3,4,5
Uriah Sutton served as county collector of taxes from 1824-28 and his name appears on the list of justices for the years 1822, 1827, 1832 and 1837. (Ref: Snells, History of Hunterdon County). He appeared on the census of 1830 at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.6 He appeared on the census of 1840 at Black River, Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.7
