Uriah was born at Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey, on 12 January 1806.¹ He was the son of Stephen Sutton and Sarah Bedell. Uriah died on 18 March 1855 at Peapack, Bedminster Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, at age 49.²
Uriah was married at the time of his death. Uriah was a mason by trade. He was a mason in March 1855.³
