She married John Stonebaugh at Frenchtown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 17 December 1891.2 She died on 21 November 1899 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, of pulmonary tb.3,1 Her body was interred on 24 November 1899 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at Rosemont Cemetery.

     James Rittenhouse Sutton was born on 23 August 1859 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1 He was the son of William Bonham Sutton and Hannah Rittenhouse. He married Anna E. Bidewell, daughter of Edward Bidewell and Nancy Terwillinger, on 19 March 1885 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2,3 He died on 5 January 1946 at Dr. William McCorkle's Hospital, Ringoes, East Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.4,1,5 He was buried on 9 January 1946 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.5
     James had his right hand amputated in 1891 after getting caught in a threshing machine. He took up telegraphy. From 1893-1918, he was an operator for the Postal Telegraph Company at Long Branch, NJ. Thereafter, he became telegraph operator and station agent for the New Jersey Central Railroad at Keyport, NJ, which position he held until he retired in 1930. He was in possession of the William B. Sutton family bible. He appeared on the census of 12 July 1860 in the household of William Bonham Sutton at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.6 He appeared on the census of 20 June 1870 in the household of William Bonham Sutton at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.7 He appeared on the census of 15 June 1880 in the household of William Bonham Sutton at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.8 He was a telegraph operator in June 1900.9 He appeared on the census of 23 June 1900 at Central Avenue, Ocean Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey..10 He was a telegraph operator in April 1910.11 He appeared on the census of 26 April 1910 at Ward 4, Long Branch, Monmouth County, New Jersey.12 He was a railroad ticket agent in April 1930.13 He appeared on the census of 17 April 1930 at Keyport, Monmouth County, New Jersey.14 Obit:
     James R. Sutton, 86, of 48 Buttonwood street, Lamberville, died this morning in Dr. William McCorkle's Hospital, Ringoes. He was born in Locktown, Hunterdon County, son of the late William and Hannah Sutton, and formerly lived in Long Branch. He was a retired telegraph operator.
     Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Anna Bidewell Sutton; three nieces and a nephew.
     Furneral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Holcombe funeral home, Main street, Flemington, with the Rev. E. C. Dunbar, pastor of the Baptist Church at Flemington, officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove cemetery, Quakertown, N.J. on 5 January 1946.5

She married James Rittenhouse Sutton, son of William Bonham Sutton and Hannah Rittenhouse, on 19 March 1885 at Locktown, Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2,3 She died on 27 June 1958 at Pittstown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1
     Anna E.      Mrs. Anna E. Sutton, 94, Pittstown, died yesterday at her home, where she resided with two nieces, Mrs. Alma Agans and Mrs. Grace Bloom.
     Mrs. Sutton was the widow of James R. Sutton. Born in Irvington on March 19, 1864, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Nancy Bidewell. She had resided in Pittstown for 12 years.
     Her closest relatives are nieces and nephews.
     The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Flemington. on 28 June 1958.1

     Hannah Ann Heiner was born on 18 July 1850 at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Birth date derived from death certificate. 1900 U.S. Census notes birth as Jul 1851. She was the daughter of Theodore Heiner and Mahalah Curtis. She married Stacy B. Sutton, son of William Smith Sutton and Catharine Ann Brewer, on 29 July 1876 at Doylestown, Pennsylvania.1,2 She died on 17 July 1929 at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.3 She was buried on 20 July 1929 at Frenchtown Cemetery, Frenchtown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.4,3
     Hannah Ann Heiner appeared on the census of 18 June 1880 in the household of Catharine Ann Brewer at Baptisttown, Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.5 She appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 in the household of Stacy B. Sutton at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; No children were born of this marriage.6 She appeared on the census of 25 April 1910 in the household of Stacy B. Sutton at Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; No children were reported with this marriage.7 Obit:
     Mrs. Hannah Sutton, 79, died at her home in Baptistown yesterday. Born near Kingwood Presbyterian church, between Baptistown and Frenchtown, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Hiner. She was the last survivor of her family.
     The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:30, the Rev. John Green, pastor of the Baptistown Baptist church, of which she was a member, conducting. Interment will be made in the Frenchtown cemetery. on 18 July 1929.8
