She married Cecil Leroy Sutton, son of Ellis Sutton and Radie Hoffman, on 21 July 1920 at Pottersville, Bedminster Township, Somerset County, New Jersey.1 She died on 20 July 1992 at Bridgewater, Bridgewater Township, Somerset County, New Jersey.2 She was buried on 24 July 1992 at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, Somerset County, New Jersey; Letha Barker Sutton, 90, who had resided in the township for the past four years, died July 20, 1992 at her home.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Pottersville and lived in Rockaway before moving to Bridgewater.
She is survived by a son, Robert J. Sutton, of Pottersville; two daughters, Ruth DeCoster, with whom Mrs. Sutton lived, and Mabel Truppi of Rockaway; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Audrey Teisher and Eleanor Eberbach, both of Branchburg.
Her husband, Cecil L. Sutton, Sr., died in 1971. Another son, LeRoy Sutton, died in 1972.
Services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Layton Funeral Home, Main Street, Bedminister. Burial will be in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m.2

- [S1448] Whitehouse Review. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bush of Pleasant Run, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Jessie B. Bush, to Ross J. Sutton, Jr., of Califon. The marriage took place February 8, in the house of the bride's parents.
The Rev. Charles F. Unger, pastor of the Reformed Church of Readington, officiated. The bride's aunt, Mrs. John Pierson, of Scotch Plains, played the wedding music.
The bride wore a gown of white lace and crepe. Her veil was fingertip length and she carried a shower bouquet of white snapdragons. Miss Eleanor Hopler of Naughright, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of lilac blue chiffon and lace. Her arm bouquet was of pink snapdragons.
Miss Mary Joan Pierson of Scotch Plains, a cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. She wore a yellow chiffon gown and carried an old fashion bouquet of mixed flowers. The flower girl was Ruth Anne Pierson, also of Scotch Plains.
Best man was Everett Sutton, a brother of the bridegroom. The ceremony was followed by a reception in the bride's home. After a wedding trip to Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Sutton will reside at Farmersville.
Mrs. Sutton was graduated from Flemington High School, Class of 1940.
