     Anna L. Space was born on 12 August 1863 at New Jersey; Birth date derived from death certificate. 1905 State Census notes birth date as August 1860. 1900 Census notes birth as August 1862. She was the daughter of Conrad S. Space and Martha Guest. She married Cleophas F. Sutton, son of John H. Sutton and Sarah A. Hockenberry, on 15 November 1884 at at the parsonage, Glen Gardner, Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.1 She died on 2 May 1930 at High Bridge, High Bridge Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, of chronic nephritis.2 She was buried on 3 May 1930 at Valley Cemetery, Hampton Junction, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.2
     Annie first name may have actually been Mary or Emma. She appeared on the census of 1895 in the household of Cleophas F. Sutton at Lebanon, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.3 She appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 in the household of Cleophas F. Sutton at West Lebanon, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; Residing with Hartman family. Anna noted having 2 children both deceased.4 She appeared on the census of 1905 in the household of Cleophas F.
