Mrs. Sutton was born February 21, 1850, near Pottersville, on the farm now occupied by her nephew, Walter Pickell. She is the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Pickell. She is a member of the Califon Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service. She is a charter member of Pride of Steward Council, 118, Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
She is the last of a family of nine children. She has one son, David Andrian Sutton, and one daughter, Mrs. Winifred Cregar, both of Califon. There also are two grandchildren, Mrs. Marc C. Waldron of Califon and Lorenzo D. Cregar of Lebanon, and two great-grandchildren, the Misses Betty and Lois Cregar, of Lebanon. on 25 February 1941.11 Obit:

Edward H. Sutton Sr., 72, a retired machinist for the Lehigh Valley Railroad, died early today at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Sutton, of 220 Valley St., with whom he resided. He had been in failing health for some time.
Born in Glen Gardner on Aug. 2, 1883, he was a son of the late Andrew Sutton and the late Emma Taylor Sutton Brown. He had been employed in the South Easton shops of the railroad until he retired in 1926.
He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Pioneer Athletic Association, Easton. His wife, the former Edna May Groupe, died in 1950.
Surviving, besides the son with whom he resided, are six other sons, Andrew T. of St. Louis, Mo; Edward H. Sutton Jr. of Trenton; and Harry H, Norman D., Clarence and Charles L. of Easton; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph McInerney, of Easton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His stepfather, William Brown, died before him.
Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. on 30 March 1956.3

Funeral services for Floyd C. Sutton, 74, of 1405 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Mr. Sutton died yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was a patient the last month. He had been in ill health a year.
