     Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffman Sutton, 58 years old, wife of James Sutton, of Netcong, were held today at 2 p.m. in the Morgan funeral home, Netcong. The Rev. J. H. Barton, pastor of the Netcong Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Lower Valley Union cemtery, Califon.

     Mrs. Sutton was a former resident of Califon. She was born at Fairmount, near Califon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Hoffman, of Califon. She was twice married, her first husband having been the late Harry Hill, of Califon, who died several years ago.

     She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Garlic, of Netcong, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hann, of Califon, and Mrs. Walter H. Buckley, of Philadelphia; four brothers, Newton Hoffman, of Fairmount, Edward H. Hoffman, of Netcong, Walter Hoffman, of Califon, and Philip Hoffman, of Lebanon. on 27 December 1943.²

     Harry Hill was born circa March 1882 at Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He was the son of Calvin Hill and Susan Young. He married Elizabeth B. Hoffman, daughter of Asa C. Hoffman and Martha M. Fleming, between 1902 and 1910 at New Jersey. He died before April 1910 at New Jersey.

     Bertha was born at High Bridge, High Bridge Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, circa June 1892. She was the daughter of George A. Apgar and Melissa Howell. She married Frank Berton Sutton, son of Lyman Ader and Anna Rose Trimmer, on 17 September 1910 at Glen Gardner, Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ She died on 12 April 1977 at Manor Retirement Center, Mifflintown, Pennsylvania.² She was buried on 16 April 1977 at Lower Valley Union Cemetery, Califon, Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.²

     Born in Chester, N.J., she was a daughter of the late George and Melissa Howell Apgar.
     She was a resident of Califon before moving to Pennsylvania many years ago.
     She was a member of the South Side Methodist Church, Easton, and the Mothers of World War II, Easton.
     Surviving are her husband, Frank B. Sutton Sr; two sons, Kenneth of Stratford, Conn., and Frank B. Jr. of Milroy, Pa; a sister, Mrs. Mamie J. Ross, Plainfield, N.J; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
     Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Interment will be in Lower Valley Union Cemetery, Califon. on 13 July 1977.²

Sutton Jr., of Trenton, N.J; daughter, Mrs. Joseph McInerney, of Easton; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. George Drake, of Phillipsburg; Mrs. Jack Marz, of Easton; and Mrs. Slether Ingells, of Plainfield, N.J; and four stepbrothers, Theodore Poff, of Alpha; Samuel and William Poff, of Phillipsburg; and James Poff, of Easton. on 10 October 1950.¹
