     Clyde M. Sutton, 70, of 326 Belvidere Ave., Washington, died last night after a long illness.

     Born in Port Murray, he was a son of the late Casper and Lillian Hoppock Sutton.
     He was an Army-Air Force veteran of the World War II and a member of the United Methodist Church, Washington, and the Washington Post No. 103, American Legion.
     Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Morgan; two brothers, Alfred of Phillipsburg, and Harry of Menlo Park, N.J; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Hoff and Mrs. Alma Hoffman, both of Washington, and Mrs. Mary Bennett, Forked River, N.J.
     Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington. Interment will be in Port Murray, N.J., Cemetery. on 26 April 1978.4

She married John Henry Sutton, son of Henry Harris Sutton and Mary Elizabeth Smith, on 11 November 1899 at Hackettstown, Warren County, New Jersey.1 She died on 18 March 1963 at Warren Haven, Pequest, Warren County, New Jersey.2

     Mrs. Sutton was the widow of John H. Sutton, who died in December 1918. Born in Beattystown, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Slater.
     She was of the Methodist faith.
     Surviving are three daughers, Mrs. Raymond Young, Hackettstown; Miss Margaret Sutton, Belvidere, and Mrs. Frances Lombardo, Morristown, N.J; five sons, Charles, Hackettstown; Nelson, Oxford; John, Washington, N.J; Franklin, High Bridge; and Elmer, Ontario, N.Y; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a brother, Lewis Slater, Westfield, N.J.
     Funeral arrangements are being made by the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere. on 18 March 1963.2

     William Sutton, 16 years old, died at 2:40 o'clock this morning at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvah Sutton, 114 North Main street, death coming as a relief to the boy who suffered terribly.
     It was several months ago that young Sutton, while in the employ of the American Horseshoe Company, met with an injury that necessitated his removal to the University Hospital, Philadelphia. The injury was principally to his spine. Four inches of one of his shin bones was removed and inserted in his back.
     Some time after the operation had been performed he was brought back to Phillipsburg, but later on he was returned to the hospital. His condition did not improve and he was again brought to Phillipsburg several weeks ago.
     Besides his parents, the deceased is survived by four brothers and one sister: John, of Pattenburg; Russell, Raymond, Kenneth and Miss Eva Sutton, residing at home. He was a member of the Sunday school of First Methodist Episcopal Church, Easton.
     The body has been removed to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Enos E. Sutton, 155 Cedar street, from which place the funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Fairmount cemetery. on 31 January 1919.4

     Percy Sutton, 68, of 103 Howard St., Phillipsburg, died Saturday at 5:45 p.m. in Warren Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day.
     Born in High Bridge, he was a son of the late Silas and Emma Drake Sutton. He had lived most of his life in Phillipsburg. Mr. Sutton was employed for 27 years by the maintenance department of the Central Railroad of New Jersey in Philippsburg.
     Surviving are his widow, the former Emily Cora Hill; four daughters: Mrs. Cecil Hampton, of Vermillion, Ohio, and Mrs. Peter V. Yerance, Mrs. Wilbert C. Yerance, and Mrs. Hugh R. Walls, all of Phillipsburg; two sons, Clarence W. of West Portal, and Charles A., stationed with the U.S. Air Force at Elmendorf, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Heavener, and one brother Ervin, both of Phillipsburg R.D. 2; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. on 4 March 1955.4

     Annie R. Grube was born circa 1893 at Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Jacob Grube and Annie Young. She married Percy Hall Sutton, son of Silas R. Sutton and Emma C. Drake, on 10 September 1908 at Oxford, Oxford Township, Warren County, New Jersey.1
