     John Van Dyke was the son of Abraham Van Dyke and Ida Stryker. He married Elizabeth Sutton at Somerset County, New Jersey, on 28 December 1816. John died after 1817 at Seneca County, New York.
     John was a brother to Isaac Van Dyke who married Jane Sutton.

John Van Duyn, the son of a tavern keeper at Jeroleman's Mills near Peapack. He married a daughter of Levi Sutton and removed to Seneca Co., NY. (Ref: Somerset Co. Historical Quarterly, Vol. VI, 1917, Memoranda Concerning Somerset Co. Persons & Events. "Prominent Men in North Somerset", p. 248).

He married Abigal Cooper after 1818. Isaac died on 27 December 1837 at Somerset County, New Jersey, at age 50.
     Isaac is a brother of John Van Dyke who married Elizabeth Sutton, daughter of Levi.

     Jane was born at Somerset County, New Jersey, on 7 July 1797. She was the daughter of Levi Sutton and Jane Johnston. She married Isaac Van Dyke at Somerset County, New Jersey, on 3 December 1817.

     Preser Wright was born circa 1817 at New Jersey. He married Phebe Ann Sutton at Somerset County, New Jersey, on 17 May 1846.
     Preser Wright and family moved to Illinois between June 1846 and October 1850.
