Obituary
Alonzo C. "Coot" Sutton, 65, of 143 W. Cooper St., Easton, died yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Jan. 9. He has been ill since November.
Retiring five years ago, he was a steward for the Easton Fleas Club.
born in Easton on Aug. 22, 1911, he was a son of the late Edward H. and Edna Mae Grube Sutton.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his widow, the former Elsie M. Hill; a son, Robert R., Easton; a sister, Mrs. Margaret E. McInerney, Riegelsville, Pa.; two brothers, Norman D., Easton and Charles L., Orange, N.J.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A brother, Harry, died in 1976.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hays Cemetery, Easton.
