Obituary (Hunterdon Democrat)
Floyd C. Sutton former Califon area resident of Forks Township, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 27 in Easton Hospital, where he had been a patient for a month. He was 74 years old.
Born in Middle Valley, he spent his early life in the Califon area. He was a retired employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, where he worked as a railroad tower operator. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Telegraphers, Local 15.
Surviving, are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Covert Sutton at home; a son, Floyd M. Rahway; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Lynch, Easton; Mrs. Lydia Emmons, rural Califon; two brothers, Frank, Mt. Dora, Fla.; Walton, Califon, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday in Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Rev. Earl C. Houck, pastor of Califon Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Lower Valley Cemetery.

Obituary (Easton Express)
Funeral services for Floyd C. Sutton, 74, of 1405 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Mr. Sutton died yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was a patient the last month. He had been in ill health a year.
Born Sept. 2, 1892, in Middle Valley, N.J., he was the son of the late Lyman and Anna Trimmer Sutton. He was employed as a telegraph and tower operator by the Lehigh Valley Railroad 45 years until his retirement three years ago.
Mr. Sutton was of the Methodist faith and a member of Local 15 Brotherhood of Railroad Telegraphers.
Surviving are his widow, the former Elizabeth Covert; a son, Floyd M. Sutton, Rahway, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Edward J. Lynch, Easton, and Mrs. Lydia Emmons, Califon R.D.; two brothers, Frank Sutton, Mount Dora, Fla., and Easton, and Walton Sutton, Califon, and three grandchildren.

Burial Notes:
Buried in Lower Valley Union Cemetery.
