Obituary (Hunterdon Democrat)
George Sutton of 105 Brunswick avenue, Bloomsbury, died of a heart attack Saturday, Jan. 14 at his home. His brother, Frederick J., of Annandale, found him dead at the foot of the cellar stairs Saturday at 11:30 a.m. He was 79 years ago.
Hunterdon County Physician, Dr. John Fuhrmann said death was caused by a coronary occlusion.
Mr. Sutton was born in Annandale and spent his early life there. He lived in Bloomsbury 40 years. He retired as signalman for Jersey Central Railroad 10 years ago. His wife, Mrs. Adelaide Stewart Sutton, died in Bloomsbury in 1941.
Surviving, in addition to his brother, Frederick, is another brother, Allen A. Sutton, Phillipsburg, and a sister, Mrs. Olive M. Crate, Loma Linda, Calif.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in Rush Funeral Home, Bloomsbury. Rev. Graham Bardsley, pastor of Bloomsbury Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member, officiated. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Ringoes.

George Sutton, 79, of 105 Brunswick Ave., Bloomsbury, was found dead by a brother, Frederick J. Sutton of Annandale. Dr. John B. Fuhrmann, Hunterdon County physician, said death was attributed to coronary causes.
Mr. Sutton was a signalman for the Central Railroad of New Jersey until his retirement 10 years ago.
Born in Annandale, he was a son of the late J. Garner and Amy H. Anderson Sutton. He had lived in Bloomsbury the last 40 years.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Bloomsbury.
His wife, the former Adelaide Stewart, died in 1941.
Survivors include mother, brother, Allen A., Phillipsburg and a sister, Mrs. O. M. crate, Loma Linda, Calif.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Rush Funeral Home, Bloomsbury.
