Obituary
Mrs. Hannah Louise Sutton Apgar, 76 years old, widow of Eugene Apgar, died yesterday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Alpaugh, at Cokesbury, with whom she lived. She had been a sufferer for two years from heart trouble, but her condition did not become serious until last Monday.
Mrs. Apgar's husband died seven years ago. She spent all of her married life in the Cokesbury vicinity, mostly on farms. Born at Fairmount, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Sutton, she lived there until her marriage. She was a member of the no-longer existant Cokesbury Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Apgar besides Mrs. Alpaugh, are four other daughters: Mrs. Henry Hoffman, of Lebanon; Mrs. Orval Hartrum, of Cokesbury; Mrs. Etta Johnson, of Whitehouse; and Mrs. Willis Philhower, of Annandale, as well as 10 grandchildren and one greatgrandson.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Alpaugh home and will be conducted by the Rev. George C. Magill, pastor of the Cokesbury Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Mountain View cemetery, Cokesbury.
