Obituary
Harry W. Sutton Sr., 70, Cokesbury, Lebanon R.D. 2, died yesterday at the Hunterdon Medical Center, where he was a patient 12 days.
Mr. Sutton was employed 40 years as a machinist, at the High Bridge plant of the Taylor-Wharton Co., retiring in 1959.
Born July 8, 1894, in the Lamington vicinity of Somerset County, he spent all his life in Cokesbury. He was a veteran of World War I. He served overseas with the Army.
He was a member of Herbert Cawley Post, American Legion, High Bridge, and Cokesbury Methodist Church where he formerly served on its board of trustees for many years.
Survivors include his widow, the former Mary C. Lance; a son, Harry W. Jr., Cokesbury; four sisters, Mrs. Sumner Alpaugh, High Bridge; Mrs. Earl Rounsaville, Flemington; and Mrs. George McCatharn and Mrs. Louis Perry, both of Cokesbury, and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bright Colonial Funeral Home, Lebanon.
