Obituary
Miss Laura E. Sutton, 82, of 57 Youman's Ave., Washington, N.J. died yesterday in Warren Hospital after a long illness.
Miss Sutton was a retired clothing designer. She was employed by the Jay Thorpe department store in New York City until 1961.
Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob L. and Mary E. Savacool Sutton.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington and the American Advocate Council 64, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, Washington.
Survivors include three brothers, Theodore R. Sutton, Washington; William M. Sutton, High Bridge; and George B. Sutton, New Hyde Park, N.Y.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery.
