Obituary
Thomas R. Sutton, 55, Hope, N.J., who was clerk of Hope Township the last 20 years, died yesterday in Warren Hospital where he was a patient a week.
Mr. Sutton owned and operated Sutton's Garage in Hope.
Born in Hope Township, N.J., he was a son of the late Thomas and Eva Tims Sutton.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Fire Department, Hope Chamber of Commerce and Hope Community Center.
Survivors include his widow the former Betty Cooke; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Kernoschak, Stanhope, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Isabel Venezia, Wanaque, N.J., and Mrs. Marion Franklin, Belvidere R.D., and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere. Interment will be in Moravian Cemetery, Hope.
