The wording of a death entry for a child of this family in 1582 - "Der Thomas Fiedlerin Kindlein" - seems to point out that Thomas Fiedler already was deceased at that point of time, as the entry only mentions his (former) wife as the family this child belonged to. In any case, his widow re-married in 1586. No death entry found. Church records begin in 1582.
