Charles Sutton, 74, East Shore, Lake Owassa, died yesterday at Newton Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Sutton was employed as a mechanic by the Frank Garrison Trucking, Co., Newton, for 21 years. He retired four years ago.
Born in Hope, he lived in Buttsville 21 years. He lived at Lake Owassa the last seven years.
Suviving are his widow, the former Ruth Parks; a son, Frank, Lake Owassa; a sister Mrs. Mabel Lusk, Belvidere, and a grandson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wood Funeral Home, Branchville.

Charles Sutton, 73, of Caldwell, formerly of Califon, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J.
Mr. Sutton was a native of Fairmount. He never married.
Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Emma Davis, of Whitehouse, and Miss Sarah Sutton, of East Orange, and three brothers, Jacob, of Clinton; Philip, of Califon; and Marshall.
Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon.
