Edward "Jack" Sutton, 62, of 253 Fairmount Road, Long Valley, N.J., died unexpectedly Thursday at his home. Death was attributed to coronary causes.
Mr. Sutton was a retired laborer.
Born in Long Valley on Aug. 22, 1910, he was a son of the late Raymond and Grace Polhemus Sutton.
Survivors include his widow, the former Selena Holmes; two brothers, Hary, Long Valley, and Willard, Springfield, N.J.; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Davis, Naughright, N.J., and Miss Alma Sutton, Long Valley.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon. Interment will be in Fairmount, N.J., cemetery.
Buried in Fairmount Cemetery.

Edward Sutton Jr., 16, of Fairmount Road, Long Valley, died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J., shortly after admission.
Born May 20, 1947 in Cokesbury, he was a son of Edward and Salina Holmes Sutton. He resided at the Long Valley address 10 years.
His parents are his only survivors.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Coughlin Funeral Home, Califon.

Obituary
Edward H. Sutton Sr., 72, a retired machinist for the Lehigh Valley Railroad, died early today at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Sutton, of 220 Valley St., with whom he resided. He had been in failing health for some time.
Born in Glen Gardner on Aug. 2, 1883, he was a son of the late Andrew Sutton and the late Emma Taylor Sutton Brown. He had been employed in the South Easton shops of the railroad until he retired in 1926.
He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Pioneer Athletic Association, Easton. His wife, the former Edna May Groupe, died in 1950.
Surviving, besides the son with whom he resided, are six other sons, Andrew T. of St. Louis, Mo.; Edward H. Sutton Jr. of Trenton; and Harry H, Norman D., Clarence and Charles L. of Easton; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph McInerney, of Easton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His stepfather, William Brown, died before him.
Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
Buried in Fairmount Cemetery.
