Charles C. Sutton, 69, a self-employed electrician, of 207 W. Prospect St., Hackettstown, died yesterday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, East Orange. He had been hospitalized for three weeks.
Born in Hackettstown, he was a son of the late Mathias and Sallie Force Sutton. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Blue Ridge Post 164, American Legion, Hackettstown.
Surviving are his widow, the former Helen Mayberry; a son, Charles E., Hackettstown; a daughter, Mrs. Nina Hoffman, Andover, N.J., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown. American Legion services will be conducted at the home at 8 p.m. Sunday.
