Obituary (High Bridge Gazette and Easton Express)
Mrs. Lydia A. Sutton, 93, widow of William E. Sutton, of Cokesbury, died Saturday in a Trenton hospital, where she had been a patient for the past year. She had resided all her life in the Cokesbury vicinity.
She was born May 18, 1857, at Cokesbury, a daughter of the late Isaiah and Lydia Hoffman Apgar. Mrs. Sutton was a member of the Cokesbury Methodist Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Earl Rounsaville, of Fleming; Mrs. George McCatharn and Mrs. Louis Perry, of Cokesbury; one son, Harry, of Cokesbury; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, adn two brothers, George Apgar, of High Bridge, Isaiah L. Apgar, of Annandale.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Naughright Funeral Home, High Bridge. Interment was in Mountain View cemetery at Cokesbury.
Buried in Mountain View Cemetery.
