Obituary
Miss Etta Sutton, 77, who had been ill with a heart ailment for the last six weeks, died on Saturday at her home on Church street, Califon.
She was born in Califon, a daughter of the late Wesley and Catherine R. Sutton. In her younger life, Miss Sutton had resided for several years in New York City, but had been living in Califon the greater part of her life.
Miss Sutton, who never married, was the oldest member of Califon Methodist Church, and the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church. She taught the Ladies Adult class of the Sunday school before she became ill.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Herzogg, of Nazareth, and Mrs. Emma Davies, of Scranton.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Coughlin funeral home, Califon, with the Rev. George M. Mueller, of High Bridge, officiating. Burial will be in Lower Valley Union cemetery, Califon.
