Obituary
George Sutton, 70, of Pequest Road in Mansfield Township, died Monday at home after a long illness.
He was a foreman for the New Jersey State Fish Hatchery in Hackettstown, retiring eight years ago.
Born Jan. 8, 1918 in Hackettstown, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary Snyder Sutton.
He was the husband of the former Lillian Bailey.
He was Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his wfie, he is survived by one son, Robert Irving of Laguna Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Evely Sachse of North Plainfield and Jean Evans of Carteret, N.J.; one brother Howard Lacey of Asbury, N.J., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private services are being arranged by the Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown.
