Obituary
Harvey K. Sutton, 45, Route 22, Pattenburg, was found dead in a garage at his home about 3:30 p.m. yesterday. The death was termed a suicide by state police at Clinton.
Mr. Sutton's body was found by his wife, Betty, when she returned home from work.
Mr. Sutton was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Frank Snope of Lebanon, deputy Hunterdon County physician. the body ws released to the Rush Funeral Home, Bloomsbury. Trooper John Wambold conducted the investigation.
Mr. Sutton was employed as a truck driver for Johns-Manville Corp., Manville, N.J.
Born in Glen Gardner, he resided at the Pattenburg address 14 years. Before that he lived in Bloomsbury. He was a son of the late William B. and Mary Kice Sutton.
He was a member of the Fraternal Oder of Eagles, Easton, and Veterans of Foreign Wars 7856, Flemington. He served with the U.S. Air Force in communications during World War II. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his widow, the former Betty Haring; a son, Samuel H., Bloomsbury, and three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Patton, Patterburg; Mrs. Harriet Horton, Highland, N.J.; and Mrs. Anna Mae Blazer, Peapack, N.J.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rush Funeral Home, Bloomsbury.
Buried in the Bloomsbury Cemetery.
