Obituary
Howard Sutton, 79, of the Cokesbury Road, Lebanon, N.J., R.D. 2, died yesterday in a Trenton hospital where he was a patient the last two years.
Born in the Califon area, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Sutton. He operated a farm in the area many years, retiring 10 years ago. He was also employed by the Hunterdon County Road Department.
Mr. Sutton was a member of the Cokesbury Methodist Church and a member and former officer of Stewart Lodge, F&AM, Clinton. He was also a former member of the Clinton Township Democratic Executive Committee.
His wife, the former Zetta Apgar, died last Jan. 1.
Surviving are three sons, Charles M., Glen Gardner, and Lester H. and Kenneth M., both of Lebanon R.D. 1; two daughters, Mrs. Doris McDowell, Lebanon R.D. 2, and Mrs. Donald McKnought, Clark, N.J.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Bright Colonial Funeral Home, Lebanon. Stewart Lodge will conduct services at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home.
