Obituary
James I. Sutton, 89, Johnsons Road, Vienna, N.J., died yesterday in the Hackettstown Community Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Sutton was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He drove a bus 34 years for the Hackettstown Elementary School.
He was also a dog catcher in Independence Township 10 years and a part-time constable.
Born in New Jersey, he lived in Independence Township 26 years and in Townsbury 60 years.
His wife, the former Amanda Cummings Gray, died in 1966. A son, Harold, also died before him.
Surviving are four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Metzler-Scala Memorial, Hackettstown. Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows.
