Moses was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He was temporarily in VA and PA. Moved to Ohio in 1811 and to Lyme Township in 1814. He did teaming for the U.S. Army in the War of 1812. (Information obtained from Sutton Family bible once owned by Mrs. Lydia Curren of Norwalk. It was last known to be in the possession of her nephew, Robert McCandless (1967).
