Robert S. Sutton, 68, Yucca Valley, Calif., a native of Phillipsburg, died yesterday in California.
Born on July 14, 1910, he was a son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Worman Sutton.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service.
He attended Phillipsburg schools.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Sutton, two daughters, six grandchildren and two brothers, Harold of California and Clifford of Phillipsburg.
Services and cremation were held in California.
