Obituary
Robert S. Sutton, 87, Route 24, Beattystown, N.J., former member of the Mansfield Township Board of Education, died yesterday at his home.
Born Jan. 11, 1880, in Rockport, N.J., he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Beatty Sutton.
Mr. Sutton was a retired farmer and was a lifelong resident of Mansfield Township.
He had served as an elder of Beattystown Presbyterian Church 50 years and was a former member of the Mansfield Township Election Board.
Survivors include his wife, the former Lizzie Mader; a son, Franklin R. Sutton, Gillette, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Crane, Hackettstown; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown.
