Born Oct. 4, 1934 in Somerville, N.J., he was a son of Elizabeth Gorman Sutton of Asbury and the late Warren Sutton.
Mr. Sutton was a member of North Branch Reformed Church, North Branch, N.J.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, the former Amy Montague; a son, Whitney, at home; a brother, Douglas Sr. of Far Hills, N.J., and a sister Elizabeth Tag, Asbury.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Speer-Van Arsdale Funeral Home, Somerville.
