Obituary
Jessie B. Sutton, 88, of Harmony Township, died on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at the Warren Haven Nursing Home in Mansfield Township.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1922, in Branchburg, a daughter of the late John M. and Jessie E. Bryan Bush, and formerly resided in Tewksbury Township for many years She was a member of the Fairmount Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and served on
many committees of the church.
She was a former member of the Tewksbury Township PTA and was a member of the New Jersey Farm Bureau. Jessie was also the superintendent of the Fairmount Cemetery in Tewksbury Township for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and traveling.
Her husband Ross J. Sutton died in 2003 and she was also predeceased by two sons, Richard and Kevin Sutton.
Surviving her are a daughter, Elsie Duckworth and her husband Donald; a son, Larry Sutton and his wife Laura; eight grandchildren, Donald Duckworth Jr., Dawn Carl, Richard Duckworth, Daniel Duckworth, Sharon Kinsey, Sandra Mazza, Larry and Keith
Sutton, 11 great-grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Duckworth, Andrew, Lillian and Grace Duckworth, Kira and Scarlett Kinsey, Niya and Cade Sutton, Addilyn and Wyatt Sutton; a brother, Alvah Bush; and two nephews.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 30, at noon in the Coughlin Funeral Home, 15 Academy St., Califon, followed by burial in Fairmount Cemetery. A calling hour will be observed one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
