Jersey Journal, Feb 25, 1963 cites: Fourth Degree Knights Set Breakfast Sunday. the main speaker will be Sister Loyola Maria, S.S.J., dean of the College of Chestnue Hill in Philadelphia. Sister Loyola is the former Helen Coffey of Bayonne. She taught in the local school systerm before entering the order of the Sisters of St. Joseph and holds doctorates from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Madrid.
Believe Helen because Sister St. Ignatius, of Chestnut Hill, not Sister Loyola Maria. Sister Loyola Maria was Helen's older sister. There were four sisters who because nuns as noted in the Jersey Journal, Oct 31, 1970, page 6 article "Golden Jubilee Fete for Father Coffey. Helen did not become a nun until after 1946. The first 2 sisters, including the one noted Sister Loyola Maria were cited in mother's (1943) and father's (1945) obits.
