Obituary (Hunterdon Democrat)
Mrs. Lydia Sutton of Mill street, Califon, widow of Luther Sutton, died Friday, June 10, 1955 in Mrs. Young's Nursing Home at Lebanon, at the age of 88. Mrs. Sutton had been ill for some time and resided at the nursing home for the past nine months.
Born in the Califon vicinity, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Neighbor. She was a member of Lower Valley Presbyterian Church.
Her only known survivors are a grandson, Major John H. Sutton, with the United States Air Force in Germany and a granddaughter, Virginia in Tripoli, North Africa.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m., from Naughright Funeral Home, High Bridge. The Rev. Leonard H. Evans of the Lower Valley Presbyterian Church officiated and interment was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Lydia Ann Sutton, 88, of Mill street, Califon, died Friday at Mrs. Young's Nursing Home, Lebanon. Mrs. Sutton, the widow of Luther Sutton, suffered a broken hip some time ago.
She was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Neighbour. She was a member of Lower Valley Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one grandson, Major John H. Sutton, serving with the U.S. Air Force in Germany, and a granddaughter, Virginia, in Tripoli, North Africa.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Naughright Funeral Home, High Bridge.
Buried in Lower Valley Union Cemetery.
