Horse Stopped on Tracks and Both Were Tossed in the Air

Lambertville, N.J., Nov. 30 - David Sutton, aged about 60 years, a farmer, living in Delaware township near Seargeantsville, was instantly killed this afternoon at the railroad crossing of the Flemington branch, a few yards from the city line. He had been to this city on business and was returning home with a horse and buggy when the accident occurred.
As he approached the crossing a freight train was seen coming, and he was warned of his danger, but replied that he could make it. The horse stopped on the tracks and the engine hurled them in the air, killing Sutton and the horse instantly and wrecking the buggy.
