Isaac moved from New Jesey to Fayette Co., Pa. circa 1769, settling on land that was south of the village of Monroe, in present day Union Twp., Fayette Co. He purchased 380 acres and called the land "Watch Tower". Isaac was chosen pastor for Great Bethel Baptist Church at Uniontown the day it was constituted, 7 November 1770.
