Funeral services for Mrs. Anna E. Sutton, 66, wife of Edwin M. Sutton, were held yesterday afternoon at her residence at North Branch. The Rev. Charles L. Quinn, pastor of the Lutheran Church at Oldwick officated and interment was in Oldwick cemetery. Mrs. Sutton died Sunday, after an illness of eight months. She was born at Fairmount and was a daughter of George and Charlotte Hoffman. Formerly for many years she resided at Oldwick and for the past 15 years at North Branch. Besides her husband she leaves five children: Mrs. Willard L. Pickel, North Branch; Mrs. Emerson Stryker, Plainfield; George S. Sutton, Somerville and Lester and Warren Sutton, North Branch. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. William B. Cole, Mrs. Leonard Cole and Mrs. Almar G. Cole, of Centerville. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Oldwick.

Mrs. Anna E. Sutton, sixty-six years old, wife of Edwin M. Sutton, of North Branch, died on Sunday of last week, after an illness of eight months from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Sutton was a devoted wife and mother and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was born at Fairmount and was a daughter of the late George and Charlotte Hoffman. Formerly for many years she resided at Oldwick untl moving to North Branch about fifteen years ago. She was a member of the Oldwick Lutheran Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, Mrs. Willard L. Pickell, of North Branch; Mrs. Emerson Stryker, of Plainfield; George C. Sutton, of Somerville, and Lester and Warren Sutton, of North Branch. Also three sisters, Mrs. William B. Cole, Mrs. Leonard Cole and Mrs. Almar G. Cole, all of Centerville.
Funeral services were held at the late home at North Branch on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Charles L. Quinn, pastor of the Oldwick Lutheran Church, officated. Interment was made at Oldwick by funeral Director Charles Alpaugh.
