Obituary
Raymond F. Sutton, 74, of 25 Burwell Alley, Phillipsburg, was dead on arrival Saturday night at Warren Hospital after being stricken at home.
He was a driver for NORWESCAP. He was previously employed by Jacobs Auto Parks, Phillipsburg.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Alvah and Ella Hockenberry Sutton.
Surviving are his wife, the former Pauline Mertz; three daughters, Ellaloise Slack, Jacquelyn Creveling and Eva Smith, all of Phillipsburg; three sons, Alva of Phillipsburg, Arthur, at home, and Raymond Jr. with the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.; three brothers, Earl of Phillipsburg, Russell of Parkside, and Kenneth of Ohio; a sister, Eva Levy, Brooklyn, N.Y.; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Finegan Funeral Home, Inc., Phillipsburg. Interment will be Fairmount Cemetery.
